Oryzias eversi is a rare ricefish from Sulawesi, prized for its peaceful nature and subtle beauty. Ideal for nano and planted tanks, it thrives in clean, slightly alkaline water and does well in small groups. A hardy, community-safe species that’s easy to care for and breed in captivity. Oryzias eversi is one of the so-called pelvic-brooding ricefish species where females carry fertilized eggs attached to their body for the whole duration until the egg is hatched.
