Melanotaenia Trifasciata "Cato River" Rainbow

The Regal Rainbowfish embodied. Glowing blue scales along its body are somehow overshadowed by its long 1st dorsal fin and showy 2nd dorsal and anal fin lined in red and blue. These impressive fish can attain sizes larger than 5”.

This bluish Trifasciata rainbow provides a different splash of color from your usual Goyder River or Blythe River Trifasciata and will readily spar with the aforementioned locales and provide hours of frenetic sparring activity in your display tank! Feeding is very straight-forward; rainbowfish will try to eat anything that will fit in their mouths, and Trifasciata rainbows are no exception! Just make sure the foods you feed are small enough so they don't choke on their food!
