Forktail Blue-Eye
Forktail Blue-Eye
Another very active and peaceful Blue Eye, the Pseudomugil furcatus is a larger-sized species native to New Guinea. This Blue Eye can be kept in large groups with no issues and fare quite well on frozen fare such as brine shrimp, daphnia, bloodworms, as well as live foods like Baby Brine Shrimp and daphnia.
These fish need harder water to thrive and a higher pH buffered with crushed coral or buffering powders will ensure an elevated pH and kH level will keep them healthy and happy.
