The Corydoras sarareensis, also known as the Sarare Cory, is a rare and highly sought-after freshwater catfish species native to the Sararé River in Bolivia. This peaceful bottom-dwelling fish is part of the popular Corydoras genus, prized by aquarists for its gentle behavior, striking spotted pattern, and active schooling nature.
Ideal for planted tanks and community aquariums, Corydoras sarareensis thrives in soft, clean water with a sandy or fine substrate. Like other cory catfish, it prefers to be kept in groups and will actively sift through the substrate in search of food, helping keep your tank clean.
