Betta albimarginata "Malinau"

This mouthbrooding wild Betta exhibits rust-orange to a maroon body color and white seams on the fins. Betta albimarginata are a smaller species that rarely surpasses 2 inches in captivity and can be kept in groups if provided with ample cover and foliage at the bottom and adequate surface area. 

Being a blackwater species, Betta albimarginata prefer soft, tannic water conditions but can be acclimated to neutral conditions as well. Flakes, pellets and frozen foods are readily accepted by this species.
