The Bandit Corydoras (Hoplisoma metae, commonly also listed as Corydoras metae) is a peaceful, bottom-dwelling freshwater fish beloved by aquarists. The Bandit Corydoras gets its name from the distinctive black stripe running across its eyes, resembling a bandit mask. Its body is silvery-beige with a darker dorsal patch and clear fins. This eye-catching contrast makes it a favorite in aquascapes. Native to the Meta River basin in Colombia, this small catfish makes a great addition to community tanks. As for all Corydoras they do best in groups of 6 or more
