Amano Shrimp (Caridina multidentata)

Amano Shrimp is the one-size fits all species for any aquarium. Although they can attain a maximum size of 3-4" they will do just fine in planted tanks as small as 3-4 gallons! Being a larger (yet peaceful) and highly evasive species, the Amano shrimp can live with tiny nanofish as well as opportunistic and boisterous large fish such as rainbowfish!

The Amano Shrimp is a hard-working, hardy, and long-lived species that will tolerate a wide range of temperatures as well as water parameters. They will readily accept all dry and frozen foods, vegetable matter and even algae! In fact, a lot of aquascapers utilize this shrimp to maintain immaculate, algae-free planted aquariums!
