CW111 Vulcan Cory (Hoplisoma sp.)

Have had mine for over a year now. Started with 7 then added 10 more . They are in their own 60 breeder tank but absolutely do not need a tank that big. The reason i have them in a 4 foot long tank by themselves is that i expect them to breed and have lots of hiding spots for the babies with plants. Hans Evers breeds them this way and very successful. Keep the water clean . Good quality food and small live foods during breeding season. NO BLOOD WORMS OR BLACK WORMS. They do well with daphnia, BBS, micro and lots of grindal worms during this time. Expect them to hide but once you breed them out and the parents don't really eat them. More will survive if you just leave them alone.

Have had them for more then 11 months now. Still happy with the purchase of 7 and have added 10 more since then. As far as i know i have none that have died. They like to hide in the plants. I would not feed them blood worms or black worms. They really need clean water. Do at least one 50 % water change weekly. My 17 are going into a 60 gallon breeder soon for breeding. I will keep the babies in the tank with their parents since there will be plenty of hiding spots for them. Great quality and service from Moonlight. Have also bought the CW 127 and CW 133 (Moth ) 10 months ago. Zero losses.

I put them in a planted 60G 25 inch tall tank. Arrived with no nitrates in the water. Small but appeared very healthy. I have had them 2 weeks now. They are about 1-1.25 inches. 1 chubby female and all surf the glass after a 50% 5 deg. cooler water change. Eat very well, and do not really hide that much as i thought might happen. Planted tank with lots of water flow. Light load for number of fish. Thanks Cheng iam really satisfied with the purchase.
